The department of Electrical Engineering is one of the first three branches of Engineering started at Government Polytechnic College, Balod in the year 2017. Since its commencement, the primary objective of the department has been to impart quality education and training at the diploma level. This diploma course in Electrical Engineering encompasses the various aspects of Electrical Engineering such as Power and Industrial Electronics, Electrical Machines, Solid State Relays and Protection. The department provides quality education in many frontiers of the Electrical engineering and as such the students are well placed in many prestigious companies.The department has developed laboratories equipped with the latest machineries, instruments and trainer kits.
